THE PEMBERTON FESTIVAL IS ON - or should that be - THE PEMBERTON VERSION OF WOODSTOCK IS ON FOR JULY 2008!
Live Nation, the World's coolest and most SMASHING company is bringing TOM PETTY, COLDPLAY, JAY-Z, INTERPOL, TRAGICALLY HIP and many other hot numbers to one of the most beautiful spots in the world: Pemberton, British Columbia, Canada.
Guys and Dollz are already bitching about tickets and everything to do with the festival in anticipation of the action on forums and Facebook, and not since the KISS concert was announced in Whistler last year has there been such pandemonium.
Nevertheless, for those of us who prefer the quiet life here in Whistler, we are grateful that Pemberton will have to deal with all the Tragic Hippies who will invade the campgrounds from late July.
